Obituary Mrs. Mary Ann Rardin, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Warner French, was born in Williamsport IN, April 12, 1841, and passed to her reward at Paxton IL, Nov. 3, 1911,being of the age of 70 years, 6 months and 28 days. She was one of eight children, four of which survive her, namely Mr. George French of Thayer, KS, Mr. Jacob French, of Goodland, IN, Mrs. C.A. Hopkins, of Delphi, IN, and Mrs. Jane Yarbrow, of Hoopeston IL. Her early childhood days were spent in the town of her birth, but when eleven years of age she moved with her parents to State Line, IN, at which place she resided up to the time of her marriage to Mr. Austin B. Rardin, March 6, 1859. To this marriage four children were born—one daughter Rose, wife of Mr. Wm. Denman, of Paxton, and three sons, Warner and Fred who are residents of Paxton, and Grant, a resident of Chicago. She leaves to mourn a sad and faithful husband, four loving children, seventeen grandchildren and eight great grandchildren…………………………. Attending Funeral Following is a list of the out-of-town relatives and friends who attended the funeral of Mrs. Austin Rardin, which was held Sunday afternoon. Mrs. A.C. Jane Yarborough, sister, Mrs. Lavina French, sister-in-law, Mrs. Mrs. Hartley Hobson, niece and Mrs. Jon Hobson, neice, of Hoopeston, Ill. References
