Hatten Cem. on Lower Gragston has Jane Hatten, d/o Thomas Cartmill b. 1793 & Philip Hatten, Sr. (1790-1872), s/o Samuel & Rosanna (Queen) Hatten. Look for marriage ca. 1805. I think it could be a cousin of Thomas--perhaps daughter of his uncle Thomas. The whole family is in Wayne Co. 1860, though, including the Shannons who married the Hattens. Virgil Hatton: The History or Genealogy of the Hatton Family insists that this Jane was Tom and Nancy's daughter, but says she was born in 1788...which makes it very difficult to be correct!
