Jane A., nee Blose, wife of John A. Roberts, and a well-known and esteemed resident of near Lehigh Furnace, Slatington R. 2, died early on Tuesday morning at her home of heart disease and dropsy. She was aged 73 years, 3 months and 17 days. Mrs. Roberts was born in Washington township, Lehigh county, a daughter of Jonas and Lucy Ann, nee Peter, Blose. Besides her husband, she is survived by four sons, Benjamin, of Philadelphia; Osville, of Glenside; Henry, of Olney; and Jacob, at home; four grandchildren and a brother, Alfred Blose, of Slatington, R. 2; a half-brother, Wilson Rex, justice of the peace of Slatedale, and a half-sister, Mrs. Edwin Bittner, of Slatedale. The funeral will be held from her late home, Lehigh Furnace, Slatington R. 2, on Saturday morning at 10 o'clock, with services and burial at Heidelberg church.
