Facts and Events
Ten children are named in the Estate Inventory drawn up after his death, dated 30th September 1735, and it was subsequently noted that there was an additional child with which the widow was pregnant (nog een kind waarvan de Weed' swanger is). Their farm would seem to have been small, 30 cattle, 300 sheep and 11 horses, and they also made wine, of which they had a store of 16 leggers. There was little in the way of furniture and household goods and they were fairly heavily in debt. References
