    Petition for guardianship of Gabriel M. Writer and James H. Writer by mother Rhoda Writer of Mount Hope, from the same, dated 26 July 1841, filed 26 July 1841. James H. Writer, son of Jasper Writer Jr., deceased, was “aged two years on the twenty ninth day of August last past”. The deceased's real estate had annual rents and profits valued $285, and each child was entitled to a fourth of the residue after deducting the widow's third.
