According to Grandma Martin, James John or John James Wright lived in Fayette County with his first wife. She must have been the mother of Lewis, George, Sam and Elf/Alf. She died. James John remarried Betsy McGan and lived at Grandview area with her. According to Grandma, they are buried in the Grandview Cemetery, supposedly with their pictures on their headstone. But I couldn't find them during a visit in June 2004 or listed in any of the inventories of that cemetery. Note: When Grandma first told me about her great-grandfather James John Wright, she said that he lived first in Fayette County, then in Grandview, then in Fayette County. Perhaps he died in Fayette County and is buried there. On an older note written by Grandma Martin circa 1998-99 she indicates that James is buried on Big Sewell Mountain, and this makes sense. Another note I have to myself suggests that James John and Betsy McGan Wright might be buried in the Garden Ground or Thayer area of Fayette County.
