I think he is the Jno Wilmer who witnessed the marriage of The Reve Mr. Thomas Bradbury of Stony Stratford and Mary Forfitt of Buckingham. The marriage took place 27 Oct 1766 at St. Peter & St. Paul Church, Buckingham. The other witnesses were E. Forfitt and Martha Baker.

I also think the James Wilmot who was baptized is him.
