(Listed as James Wilkin) 1840 - In Cornwall, Orange, NY - 4 (under 20), 3 (20 to 49), 9 (total free white) BIRTH: Originally calculated as abt 1780. I have a copy of a letter from Wilfred Wilkins Baker of Wapakoneta, OH from 1975 that gives the full date I am using (7 Jun 1779). She is a descendant of Beriah and I suspect she has or has seen the family Bible. BURIAL: From Debbie in an email 4-2011 - I found some more information at the FHL last week for James Wilkins Jr. (James and Elsie's son) in the book Ancestors of Orange County New York by Van Curen pg. 173.
