- James3 Warren ((Wm2, John1) born abt. 1700, in Essex County, Virginia. was in Goochland as early as 1734, being a witness to a deed of Robert Lewis to his children> (Robert Lewis deeded to his children & bought from his father-inlaw, Nicholas Meriwether-(children named Robert, John, Nicholas, Elizabeth, Jane and Anna Lewis.) James Warren Sr. issue was John Warren, James Warren, Jr. Betty Warren, Sarah Warren, Eleanor Warren & Grace Warren. There is "NO mention" of a Hedgman Warren in this WILL. We know James Jr. married Elezibeth, Betty married Matthew Whittle, Sarah married Charles Caffrey or Coffrey, Jr., Jno married Susanna Christian dau of Charles Christian, Sr. & Elizabeth Hunt, Grace unmarried in the 1748 Mineral land document of Copper John Warren and Elinor Mildred Warren married John Rucker, Jr. 10-26-1747 by Rev. Robert Rose a Episcopation Minister. Why in all records this is not showing? James Warren, Sr.of Anne Parish Albemarle County, Virgina died 7-3-1769 Amherst County, Virginia.
