The 26 Dec 2002 email from Mr. Jeffrey Jewell states that Joseph Edward Thomas filed an Affidavit of Descent (Green County Circuit Court, Deed Book 70, ppg. 388 & 389) on 20 Jan 1942. It states that his brother, James William Thomas, died intestate, and as such, established his widow "Nannie" (Amanda M. Wright) and others (including Lou Z. Risen) as heirs.
