Lineage Informaton

The information found in the 1900 census is extraordinary. This evidence and the death certificate of Sarah Elizabeth Wiggington provide the documentation needed to show that this James W. Teafatiller is definitely the child of Enoch and Martha Elizabeth. It also shows that Enoch and Daniel were brothers. The census also names two daughters of Enoch and Martha Elizabeth who were born after the 1880 census enumeration. Since Rena Teafatiller was born in May of 1886 in Texas and Sarah Teafatiller was born in the Indian Territory in April 1888 or 1889 (death certificate says 1889), this establishes an approximate date for the relocation of this family from Texas to the Indian Territory.

In the 1910 census a third child of Enoch and Martha Elizabeth is enumerated in the household.
