    31. Mary "Polly" Goff (Thomas, ____) was born 6 January 1781, probably in Hampshire County, VA. She married James Sudduth 10 April 1804 in Clark County, Ky. James Sudduth was born 24 May 1773, probably in Fauquier County, Va., a son of John Sudduth and Ann Millard. Mary and James lived in Clark County, Ky.

    James Sudduth had a wooden leg and was deputy sheriff in Clarke County, Ky. under his brother, Col. Wm. Sudduth. James Sudduth died 11 December 1825, probably in Clark County, Ky. Mary Sudduth died 23 December 1854 probably in Clark Couinty, Ky. Mary and James Sudduth are buried in Sudduth Cemetery, about five miles from Winchester, Clark County, Ky.
