From Robin Butler Daviet on the internet: In "The Heritage of Iredell County 1980", I found 3 references to Luckey/Lucky. One was under Iredell History and two were within the family biographies section. "Dr. James Stewart of Iredell, the third child of Finley and Prudence Stewart and the subject of this article.....married (bond September 27, 1798) in Mecklenburg County Martha Fall, born February 9, 1777. ..................Dr. Stewart's wife, Martha, died December 9, 1843 and was buried beside her husband at Centre. Martha's will, dated December 5, 1843 made bequests to her sons, James G., William Fall, Robert S., and to her daughers, Isbella C. McNeely and Ann A. LUCKY. Her son, John T. Stewart, was to receive 'All the balance of my property not above willed.....' He was also named as the executor of her estate. ..........."
