Executors, Isaac White, Edward Hall. Teste: Henry Davis, Eleanor Teas Proved, 16th November, 1757, by the witnesses. Executors qualify, with Alex. Richey, Robert McClehenny.

8. James Sterrett (Robert2, Benjamin1).1 Born in 1723 in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, USA.2 James died in Lancaster Co., Pennsylvania, USA, on 19 Aug 1808; he was 85.

Will dated 8/19/1808, registered 5/2/1809. A Revolutionary War soldier served as a private in Col. Hugh Peden's Company, Lancaster County, PA2,3. Lived on farm, 250 acres,from his father in 1767, patented 11/3/1761; north of Lancaster/Harrisburg turnpike, 2 mi northeast Mt, Joy.1

James married Sarah Montgomery, daughter of James Montgomery & Frances Crawford. Buried in Buried In A Presbyterian Churchyard Near Reedsville, Pa., Where She Died While Visiting Relatives In Mifflin County.1
