Pike Co. IL census states James R. and John were born in MO. Was the family in MO for a time before going to Pike Co. IL?

In 1860, James & Laura lived in Pleasant Vale Township., IL with 5 children at home. Brother Wesley also lives with him as well as a Charles Havens and a Samuel Stanley (no relationship found as of this time.)

The last record of James R's family is the 1870 Pike Co. IL census.

Nancy Uppinghouse (John's widow) states in her 1874 affidavit that James R. was still living in 1874.

Other than his sons Daniel and Francis R. no trace of James R's other children or their families has been found.
