The James A Snyder (born about 1862 in Canada to parents both born in Canada), married to Hattie E Snyder (born about 1864 in New York to parents both born in New York), listed in the 1920 census in Colfax, Michigan, is not James A Snyder, son of Orin and Martha (Allard) Snyder. The Colfax 1920 census record matches a 1930 census record in Cadillac, Michigan, and there is a different 1930 census record for the son of Orin and Martha (Allard) Snyder, showing him living with (or visiting) his brother Menzo and their mother.
