- 4 Sept 1781, Fauquier County, VA: John Siers the elder late of the said County deceased, on 22 Feb 1755 by his Indenture of that date did demise lease lett and to farm lett unto James Siers....said James Siers and his heirs during the life of said James Siers and of his two Sons John Siers the party to these presents and James Siers jun...and whereas the said James Siers who was party to the said Indenture to lease hath departed his Life intestate since the making thereof by which the said premises descended to the said John Siers his son and heir.
