THE PARIS NEWS, 17 Jun 1979. 'James Houston Sellers, 11763 Gaston Parkway in Dallas and formerly of Paris, died Friday in Dallas. Services are set for Monday at 10 a.m. at Sparkman-Hillcrest Funeral Home in Dallas. Interment service will be at 2 p.m. Monday in the Evergreen Cemetery in Paris with Gene Roden's Sons assisting. He is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Harold (Elizabeth) Zachach of San Antonio; two brothers, L.M. Sellers of Dallas and J.A. Sellers of Murchison, Texas; two granddaughters, Mrs. Mike McDonald of Tyler and Mrs. Kenneth Whitt of Colombia, Mo.; six great grandchildren. A brother-in-law is Burt Russell of Paris, also survives. The Rev. Douglass Hoke will preside. His wife, the former Floy Russell, died 27 Apr 1963.'
