BIOGRAPHY:

James E. Seaver, farmer, Sec. 34; P.O. Darien; son of Lyman H. Seaver (see sketch of Julius H. Seaver), was born in Genesee Co NY in June 1837; came to Walworth Co with his parents, in 1839. Mrs. Seaver was formerly Phebe L. Dodge, daughter of Josiah Dodge; she was born in the town of Darien, Genesee Co, NY in 1841. They have five children - Marcus D, Bertha L., William L., Clara M., and Josiah H. Mr Seaver made his first home in the town of Sharon, where he lived until 1864, settled on present farm in that year; his farm contains 114 acres. (Walworth Co History)
