James Lucius RHODES

James L. Rhodes

James L. Rhodes, 77, of Marthaville, died on Wednesday, Oct. 23, at 7:30 p.m., as the result of an automobile accident.

Rhodes is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Conly Rains, Florien, Mrs. Lela Dietel, Kenner, La.; three brothers, Fletcher Rhodes, Negreet, Will Rhodes Oakland, Calif.; and Peace Rhodes, Corpus Christi, Tex.; one sister, Mrs. Palmire Melder, Bernice; 8 grandchildren, and 12 great grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted at the Warren Meadows funeral Home on Thursday, Oct. 24, at 3 p.m., with the Rev. Johnny Rhodes officiating. Burial was in the Pisgah Cemetery, under the direction of the Warren Meadows Funeral Home.
