James of the house and croft known as Old Belfast, was the Sumner of Andreas. He was also the tenant of Ballacleator. He was buried at Andreas, Isle of Man on 30/03/1755. When his mother, Jane died in 1720, she left all the houses and lands including the crop of corn and Big Barrel, (barley barrel). His father, John, died in 1726 and left John the brick kilns, the crop and all utensils "belonging to ye house".
