Elizabeth Cooper, second child of James and Lucinda was born in Delaware Co. Ohio and came to Cain Twp. Fountain Co. In. with her parents. It was here that she met and married James William Peters. This was May 10, 1855 in Fountain Co. James was born October 4, 1833. Most All of their children were born in Indiana. Sometime after 1880 they moved to Kansas where they remained the rest of their lives. They had eleven (11) children in all. James W. passed away January 14, 1914 and Elizabeth passed away at the home of a daughter in St. Jo, Ill. This was September 30, 1919 and they were both buried in Maple Grove Cemetery in Narka Kansas.
