AND HIS WIFE MARTHA, copyright 1984 by Mildred Dulaney. LCC Card 83-91445, printed in Waco, Texas. Compiled by Erma Dell Melton Smith and Mildred Dulaney 1983, page 207. James Irl Norton was born 3 Jun 1892 in Oglesby, Texas, died 8 Sep 1914. He married Laura_________and they had one son Irl who had 2 sons. Irl died several years ago. Lived in Alto, Texas. Source of information Kathryn Austin. (A further note says that in 1974 the Rusk County Clerk said there was no will for an Irl Norton in their file.) Note from Sandra Smith Gwilliam-- they didn't live in Rusk County, Texas, so it would be unlikely that a will would be found in Rusk, but a probate would probably be found in either Coryell County, Texas or Hamilton County, Texas..)
