Placed here because a) the only James age 5-10 in surrounding counties in 1860 is the son of John and Lucinda, who were born in GA, matching the 1900 census entry; b) John allegedly moved to Tallapoosa in the 1860s, going by "Jack"; c) the death certificate for 85 year old James says his parents were "Jack" and Susan Jackson, which is a reasonable mangling of the name Lucinda, and the informant would have had to be a child or relation who had never met the woman. But James is not uncommon, and the death record creates doubt, so proceed with caution.
