    16 Aug 1928 - JAMES A. MORGAN DIES; Lawyer Was Founder of Shakespeare Society.
    Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. to-morrow at the
    Home for Old Men and Aged Couples, 1060 Amsterdam avenue, Manhattan,
    for James Appleton MORGAN, retired lawyer, writer and founder-president
    of the Shakespeare Society, who died yesterday in his eighty-third year ,
    in St. Luke's Hospital, Manhattan.
    Mr. MORGAN contended that the Shakespeare plays as printed in 1623 were
    not the work of Shakespeare alone and he founded the Shakespeare Society
    in 1888. He was a graduate of Racine College, class of 1867, and
    Columbia University Law School, class of '69. He was for many years
    associate counsel for various railroads.
    Interment will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
