Ellenville, June 23--James McDole, 78, of Lackawack, died at the Veterans Memorial Hospital Saturday after an illness of sveral months. He was born in Potterville, October 13, 1860, the son of James and Abigail Markle McDole. He married Mary Ellen Coniker of Lackawack, who died in 1938. Surviving are five sons, Harry, Roy, and Dan McDole of Lackawack, Elsworth of Wawarsing, and Ulster of Montela, and four daughters, Mrs. Seymour Hastie of Ulster Heights, Mrs. Frank Danbury of Middletown, Mrs. Asa Terwilliger of Wawarsing, and Miss Jennie McDole of Lackawack; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Walzenger of Hawthorne, N.J.; two brothers, Thomas of Butler, N.J., and John of Hamburg, N.J.; 14 grandchildren and two great grandchildren. Funeral services were held at Pullings' Funeral Parlors at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon, the Rev. Donald Spencer officiating. Interment was in Fantinekill Cemetery.
