    Word has been received here that J. F. McAdams, formerly of near Lima, died at the home of his daughter, Mrs. H. Shaw, in Kansas City, Mo., Mr. McAdams was born in Adams county, near Lima in 1852. His marriage to Mary Etta Dazey took place in 1878. She died eight years ago. Besides the daughter, he leaves a granddaughter, Mrs. Van Pearce of St. Louis, and great grandson. He was a brother-in-law of Mrs. Myrtle D. Whitney of Quincy
