    Sept. 1838 - James McClung et al. vs. Ann Martin et al. Filed May 1828. That James Martin now dec'd made will on 1-23-1826 devising to son, Joseph Martin farm where testator lived, also devising to three daughters, Polly, Nancy and Betsey with Richard Scott and George Kraner executors of will and witnesses to will being Matth. J. Richardson, Maria Richardson and Matt. Richardson. Petitioners maintain that at time of making of will said James Martin was insane and could not remember who all his children were. Children of James Martin, dec'd late of Butler Co., Ohio: Mary late Martin wife of James McClung, Elizabeth Morris late Martin, Nancy late Martin wife of John Herron and Joseph Martin a Minor by Wm. Douglass his guardian (note: names no further children, petition pertains in body primarily to how property devised under will). Widow of James Martin, dec'd, Ann Martin. (141)
