Facts and Events
Just read your last message. I hope you don't mind that I forwarded it to my nephew, Mark White, he is my sister Claras' son. He sent me the pictures I sent you. Mark has been researching the Lucas- Thurston Clan for long time and has a lot of info on the subject. I'm hoping he will contact you with some helpful information. Dad was born in a small coal mining town called Rush in Boyd County Kentucky. His Mom was Artie, his Dad was Joseph ( I think) They had five boys: Paschal, Parker, George, Joseph, and my Dad James Wesley. Two daughters: Susan and Rilla. One of the boys was killed in the coal mine, either Paschal or Parker. The Court House burnt down back then and it seems the records of that family were lost. Those are the kind of answers you don't like to find. Good luck. Sorry to hear Ryan has the miseries, hope it turns out OK. We are doing fine. Made it through Xmas, Jackie was in bed by 10 pm new years eve, I wasn't far behind. ( Getting old I reckon). Hope you whip that cold bug, might try a mug of Grog, Hot Buttered Rum hits the spot on cold evenings. Well, take care, I'll write more when I can think of something to write about. Love, Dad |
