• Lane, James - born 10/14/1763; entered service Hanover County, Virginia; died 12/10/1798; married 1/2/1789 Rachel Anthony, who was born 3/8/1763 & died 8/12/1838; children's births: Joseph A. 9/15/1789 (died 12/13/1808), Mark A 2/12/1791, James 8/22/1792 (died 12/20/1808), Micajah A. 12/24/1793, William T. 10/12/1795 & Sarah A. 10/29/1797; son Micajah applied for pension 1855 Wilkes County, Georgia for self & only other surviving sibling Mark A (resided Cobb County, Georgia), & they had pension application rejected, insufficient proof of service & marriage; Margaret A. Callaway, died 8/21/1845 age 29. F-R6133, R1520.
