BIOGRAPHY: James Gale Knight was a physician. He graduated from Yale Medical School 2 years after his brother (Abt. 1820), Dr. Jonathan Knight [source: Biographical Sketch of Jonathan Knight in the Franklin Bowditch Dexter work, Biographical Sketches of the Graduates of Yale College.

James G. Knight was not mentioned in his mother's will dated 1855. It is, therefore, assumed that he predeceased his mother. Neither, was there any mention of grandchildren in Anna's who may have been sired by James.
