I finally dug out my Kerr information. I don't know where I got the information or how accurate it is. I used not to be very diligent about jotting down my sources. I try to do better now.

I have James KERR/CARR/KARR b. ca 1800 in Giles Co., VA, d. Scott Co., VA, m. 20 Feb 1819, Nancy NEEL, b. 2 Sep 1800, Tazewell/Giles Co., VA, d. 13 Sep 1850, Mercer/Giles Co., VA. Nancy NEEL was the daughter of Rhoda HARMON and William NEEL.

The children I have listed for them are: Lucinda N. Kerr, b. ca 1821 John Greene Kerr, 1822 - 1903, m. Martha Davidson Witten William Lewis Kerr, 1825 - 1914, m. (1) Margaret Elizabeth Broce, (2) Susan Elizabeth Robinson, (3) Luvenia Ellen Henderson Margaret Kerr, m. John Cox Elizabeth H. Kerr, b. ca 1831, m. James Oliver Rhoda A. Kerr, b. ca 1832 James W. Kerr, b. 1843 Virginia Emma/Emily Kerr, 1843 - 1900, m. Rufus Plunkett

Probably a lot of this information came from the "Annals of Southwest Virginia."
