The Rev. James Hogg, settled in Ireland, in 1678, and in a few years after, was presented to the Rectory of Kilmore, in the diocese of Elphin. He resided at Lowfield, co. Roscommon, and was buried in the cemetery of his Rectory, about the year 1712.
