Will of James Harrell

In the name of god Amen I James Harrell of Marion district and South carolina being of Sound mind but knowing that death is Certain and Dont know the time it will come have made this my Last will and Testament--
Item I give my Dear Beloved wife Mary H Harrell my plantation wheare I now Live During the time She is my widdow and at the time She marries or in case She Dies without marreing at her Death the Land is to Return to my Children and after their Death to the Children
Item I also give my Dear Beloved wife Two of my Choice negrows for her to have the Liverty of Chosing them herself and then an Equal Share of the Ballance of the property with Each of my children During the time She is my widow and at the time She Marries She is to Return all of the property But them Two negrows that I First give her and at her Death them is to be Returnd to my Children I nominate my Dear Beloved wife and my Brother Matthew W Harull Administratiors to my Estate given under my hand and Seal this 23 Day of April 1821
