    ... In September 1679, he, as a freeman, had Lot 13 in Westerly. In his will, dated 17 Apr. 1734 and proved 29 Apr. 1745, he appointed his son Benjamin executor, and gave to Sarah, his wife, a third of all his estate, both real and personal for life, the use of the best room in the house, and two milch cows and a riding beast for ever. To his grandson Benjamin Hall, son of his son James, deceased, 5s. To his son Joseph the eastward part of the homestead, house, etc., 120 acres, and Benjamin was to pay to the testator's daughter Mary Hall £10. To his daughters Sarah Hall, Honour Hall, Elizabeth Mackson, and Mary Hall personal property to be equally divided. Inventory, £394. 18s. (Cr.
