Research Notes

  • According to the Daily Illinois Journal, July 8, 1898 James died at the home of his niece Mrs. Annabel Ferris. At one time he worked in the Circuit Clerks Office. Around 1888 he went to Nebraska and went into the banking business. He retired and moved to Jacksonville, Illinois.
