Margaret Morton was born abt. 1695, daughter of Rev. Morton, minister at Bothwell and Miss Porter of Liviland near Stirling (latter day saints, „Genealogical account of the principal families of Ayrshire“ by George Robertson,1824). Mary Aird was daughter of ? Aird of Miltown near Galston and Elizabeth Nisbet of Greenholme in the parish of Loudoun („Genealogical account of the principal families of Ayrshire“ by George Robertson,1824) From the 1st Wife he had a son: M ? Andrew GRAY (1715-1776), minister of New Kilpatrick, Dunbartonshire, who acquired Kilmardinny House („Genealogical account of the principal families of Ayrshire“ by George Robertson,1824). Andrew was possibly born in Glasgow (latter day saints). The testament dative of Andrew Gray of Kilmardiny, minister at Easter Kilpatrick, was registered 1776 at Glasgow. From the 2nd wife he had a son, M ? James GRAY, born in 1717 („Genealogical account of the principal families of Ayrshire“ by George Robertson,1824) possibly in Glasgow (latter day saints), minister of Strathblane, Stirlingshire („Genealogical account of the principal families of Ayrshire“ by George Robertson,1824).
