Daily Times-News, The Final rites for the Rev. JAMES URIAH Fogleman. 75, pastor of Timber Ridge United Church of Christ in Edgeview, W. Va., and a Burlington native, are Monday at 3 pm. at Pleasant Hill United Church of Christ, with burial in the church cemetery. The Rev. FOGLEMAN died suddenly Thursday afternoon. He was the I son of the late F. Gurney Fogleman and Sara Hinshaw FOGLEMAN of Burlington. He I was an Elon graduate and a former teacher in Alamance County schools. He was a former principal of Pleasant Grove School. The Rev. FOGLEMAN served as pastor of Providence United Church of Christ, Concord United Church of Christy Brown's Chapel United Church of Christ and Pleasant Cross United Church of Christ. -He had been pastor at Timber Ridge United Church of Christ for the past 11 years. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Joy M. FOGLEMAN; daughters, Mrs. Betty Long, Charleston, S.C., Mrs. Martha Sharpe, Mrs. Virginia Farrell, Mrs. Rebecca Wyatt, Mrs. Doris Hornaday, and Mrs. Joyce Crawford all of Burlington; sons. JAMES U. FOGLEMAN, Jr. Graham, Herman A. FOGLEMAN, Haw River, Henry D. and Jacob C. FOGLEMAN. both of Burlington; sisters. Mrs. Mamie Phillips, Swepsonville, Mrs. Maude Murray, Snow Camp, and Mrs. Lela Smith. Liberty; brothers, Walter FOGLEMAN. Haw River, and Ross FOGLEMAN, Liberty; and 19 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. The body will arrive at Rich Thompson Funeral Home of Graham Saturday night and will He in state until 30 minutes before the service. Visitation begins at the funeral home Sunday at noon; the family will be there from 7-9 p.m. Services will be conducted by the Rev. Rosser L. Clapp of the church and Dr. Clyde Fields, Association Conference Minister for Eastern North Carolina Association of the Southern Conference of the United Church of Christ. The family will be at the residence of Henry FOGLEMAN, RL 1, Burlington, Saturday, August 25, 1973
