[flandrx-seeker.ged] Christening in church records of New Rochelle, FHL 17795 The 1790 census for New York, page 201, lists two James Flandrea us, father and son. The father's household had 2 white males 1 6 or older, 2 white males under 16, and 5 white females. The so n's household had one white male (over 16, presumably James hims elf), three white males under 16, and two white females. One o f these two records could belong to this James -- and its more l ikely, but not necessarily, the elder one. If it is this James, and James Jr. is the James born in 1760, t here is some question whether this could be the same line connec ted to the Renoud family, since the James of William Renoud's wi ll would then be more properly called James IV (or even V).
