James F. Ewing '93 has been elected Principal of Portland Academy, Portland, Oregon, of which he has been Assistant Principal and instructor in history for several years. The school is 25 years old and has graduateda about 675 boys and girls, of whom about 400 have gone to college. In a recent editorial The Portland Oregonian said: "In the length and breadth of the land, no better man than James F. Ewing could be found to succeed Dr. J. R. Wilson as head of Portland Academy."
