    Court Record, Page 32—3 February, 1746-7: An inventory of the estate of James Eglestone, late of Windsor, was now exhibited by Elizabeth Eglestone, Adms., which inventory was accepted.

    Page 36—7 April, 1747: Elizabeth Eglestone, the widow, late of Windsor, now moves to this Court that her right of dowry in the real estate of the sd. James Eglestone, late of Windsor, may be set out to her: Whereupon this Court appoints Capt. Peletiah Mills, Joseph Colyer and Nathaniel Case, of Windsor, to set out to the sd. widow 1-3 part of the lands and buildings of the sd. decd, for her improvement during life.

    Page 38—5 May, 1747: Abigail Eglestone, 14 years of age, daughter of James Eglestone, chose her mother Elizabeth Eglestone to be her guardian. Recog., £200.

    Page 55—20 January, 1747-8: Abigail Eglestone, 14 years of age, now made choice of Jonah Gillett of Windsor to be her guardian. Recog., £300. An account of Adms. on the estate of James Eglestone, late of Windsor, was now exhibited in Court by Elizabeth Eglestone, Adms.: Paid in debts and charges, £100-00-01. Account is allowed and ordered to be kept on file. Now moves this Court for distribution of moveable estate:
