James Dunwoody was my gr.gr.gr.grandfather. His son, William, was father to my gr.grandfather, Marion Bruff, who was father to my grandfather, William Fredrick Dunwoody. My information is that William was born in Butler Co Ohio Sept 24 1833. I do have copies of his obituary. I also have a list of William and Loretta Carmack's children and also a list of children he had with his second wife Luncinda Kinney. If you are interested in any of this information I will be happy to share it with you. I have always believed that James' parents were William and Mary Burns Dunwoody married in Butler Co Ohio in 1810, but can find no other in formation on them other than the record of their marriage.
