Dennis Driskell JR bought the land Fork Neck from Deborah Mahone/Mahoone in 1725. Dennis Sr was deceased in 1721. Therefore, this James has to be the son of Dennis JR, not Sr:

Liber E, April 2, 1761, pg. 125-126 - James Driskell to Matthias Christopher 50 acres of Dennis Addition one half of the said tract of land. Original grant to Dennis Driskell for 100 acres and one half sold by Dennis Driskell (him thereunto moving) to Moses Gordy for forty pounds current money. Then Moses Gordy sold this 50 acres to Matthias Christopher. Now know that the above named James Driskell son of Dennis Driskell being heir at law to his deceased father, fifty acres of land "Dennis Addition" not before conveyed... for divers good cause him thereunto moving... fourteen hundred and seventy-three pounds of pork and twelve shillings and six pence to the said Matthias Christopher being the remaining part of the said tract of land.

Liber E, April 2, 1761, pg. 127-128 - James Driskell of Worcester Co.,MD to Mary Fooks of Worcester Co for consideration of 70 lbs for remaining part of land "Fort Neck" not alienated to William Fooks nor John Talbot by Dennis Driskell or James Driskell (who is heir at law of said Dennis Driskell), the westernmost end or part of the said track witch contained 200 acres. Store Accounts of John Nelms of Salisbury 1758-1787, Compiled by John E. Jacob, Jr. 1990: DRISKELL, James (7 January, 1767 to 8 August, 1768) Bought clothing items and accessories and gave credits to John Noble and Ready Porter for a total of 2/3/9½. Paid in cash 1/10/0 and got credit of 0/13/10 for a "Vige to Norfolk” in 1768, probably as a hand on Nelms' schooner.
