    (2) Henry Costard of Owleswick of Monks Risborowe, yeoman, John Child of Coleshill, yeoman and James Child the younger, son of James the elder

    - James Child the elder, in consideration that Ellen had, at his request, yielded up her right to certain property in Coleshill which had been settled on her as her jointure, and to make provision for her and for their son James the younger, covenanted with Henry Costard and John Child that he would stand possessed of (a)-(c)

    (a) cottage in the occupation of Ellen Child in Coleshill;
    (b) 2 closes of meadow or pasture adjoining (a) containing together 3 acres in the occupation of Stephen Salter;
    (c) hedgerow or parcel of woodground adjoining (b) on N containing 1 acre in the occupation of James Child the elder

    Habendum:
    - to use of James Child the elder for his life, remainder to Ellen Child for her life, remainder to James Child the younger and his heirs for ever
