James D. Chew
S6 James Denton Chew, 56, of 15-2 Tall Pines, Lewiston, died Monday morning at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Togus, following a long illness.

He was born in Nowata, Okla. on Dec. 14, 1914, the son of William and Mildred French Chew.

He was a retired truck driver who moved to Lewiston from Tulsa, Okla., in 1972. He was a member of Thomas Memorial Baptist Church in Lewiston.

Surviving are his wife, the former Thelma Brawdy, of Lewiston, three daughters, Mrs. Michael (Darlene) Allen and Mrs. Gordon (Lora) Stevens Jr. both of Lewiston, and Mrs. Donald (Jacquelyn) Rearden of Seattle; a son, Thomas Chew of Columbus, GA and seven grandchildren.
