Half Brother to Frank Bryant. At the time of the birth of his daughter May, 11TH May 1877, hisoccupation was given as draper.He lived in Clarence Street, Kingston,Surrey. He was married to Charlotte Freeman, the GRO Marr Folio No JUN 1876, NEWBURY, 2C 405.By the time of the birth of his son Gordon, 15TH Sept 1889, he wasmarried to Harriet Mackeith and was living at Park Villa, Palace Road,Wood Green, Edmonton,Tottenham London. His occupation was given as Coal Merchant. Their GRO Marr Folio NO JUN 1887, EDMONTON,3A 455.The coal merchant business moved to Southend, and it was shown as Bryant&Co, Coal Merchants, 66 Leigh Road, Southend in the 1913 Kellys'directory. (Leigh Rd is now London Rd). He was also shown in the 1914directory, but with an additional private address, 20 Ilfracombe Rd.He remarried for the 3rd time, after the death of Harriet, to ElizabethWolfe, on 1st November 1913. He died in December 1913 living at 59 Ilfracombe Rd.He is buried, with his second wife Harriet, in Plot M22, Holy TrinityChurch, Southchurch, Southend, although the church records show no namefor this plot. The County Council records do however confirm this. He has no headstone.
