    Funeral services are being conducted from the Burns Funeral Chapel in Elko at two o'clock this afternoon for James H. Bradish, who died Wednesday morning in the Elko General hospital after a lingering illness. The services are under the direction of the Elko Masonic lodge. The eulogy will be delivered by George Wittemyer, former Wells high school principal and a close friend of the family. Burial will be in the family plot in the Clover Valley cemetery. Deceased was a pioneer rancher of Clover Valley having resided there since 1876. He was born in Salt Lake City on December 7, 1870 the son of Edward and Melinda Lowe Bradish. His family moved to the valley when the father died.

    Mr. Bradish followed ranching and stockraising his entire life and was known as one of the leaders in the profession. In speaking of him as a stockman, one of his friends paid him the following tribute: "Jim Bradish knew more about the cattle business than any other man in the state of Nevada." For many years Mr. Bradish had as his partner in the ranching and stockraising business, his half-brother, Frank Winchell. Later Mr. Winchell moved to Starr Valley.

    He was married to Mable K. Godroy in Elko on August 12, 1894. She preceded him in death, in November of 1913. They were the parents of two children, one of whom, Mrs. Lawrence Anderson of Reno, survives. A son, Hilary passed away a couple of years ago.

    On May 20, 1920, Mr. Bradish and Ella Pyper were united in marriage in Salt Lake City. She survives as does their daughter, Mrs. Vernon Dalton of Clover Valley. Other survivors include: two grandchildren, Mrs. John W. Bell of Reno and Miss Donna Anderson of Reno; a great-grandson, Kaenneth Bell of Reno, and his half-brother, Frank Winchell of Starr Valley.

    Mr. Bradish was a member of the Free and Accepted Masons of Nevada, Elko Lodge No.15, and the Kerak Temple of Nevada. He received his 50-year membership pin in the Masonic order two years ago. Listed as active pallbearers for the funeral this afternoon are Ira S. Pearce, George Ralph, Geo.W.Smith, F.Y.Williams, George F. Ogilvie and Harold Hansen. Honorary pallbearers include Russel Weeks, Dennis Schoer, R.M. Steele, H.H. Cazier, A.W. Bowman, Lewis Sharp, W.R. Keegan, J. F. McCune, John Qulici, Gino Quilici, Austin Peltier, Earl Green and Albert W. Goble.
