Darrell, Thanks for the quick response. I'll try to get you what information I have to fill in the blanks as soon as I can. Right now I can tell you that Richard Allen Bond is buried alone in the Van Hoose Cemetery in Carter County. I have a picture of the headstone. He is buried next to my Grandma and Grandpa Griffey. The attached JPEG image is a picture of my grandmother, father, and mother taken circa the early 50s at the old home place located at Griffey Branch, Olive Hill (heading out on US 60 east towards Morehead): (See attached file: momdad52.jpg) I know that email addresses don't always give a clue as to a person's location. I am looking for additional information on Malena Richmond Bond, my great grandmother, who was the third wife of James Allen "Richard" Bond . The marriage must have taken place in the mid 1890s. Malena is listed in "The Descendants of Charles Bond" as having been born in Sept. 1879 to Jacob Richmond and Mary Jane Butler.

I can supply some additional information on her (death,etc) and correct and add to the information listed on her daughter, Letha Missouri Bond, my grandmother.

In the document I cite ("Charles Bond"), James Allen Bond is number 44; Letha Missouri Bond is listed as 150F.

Family lore has it that Malena was of Native American heritage. I am trying to track that and other information on her family. Any help you can provide would be appreciated. Debbie Lightsey (Tallahassee, FL)
