Born in 1646, arrived in Acadia around 1671, married around 1677 to Marguerite HE'BERT; Eight children are listed, two of them named Francois. He settled in Pisiguit around 1689, and died in 1692. !MARRIAGE: Was his wife Marguerite HEBERT married before? On the 1671 census, she was listed in widowed mother's entry as age 19 and married [to whom?]. She does not appear on that census in own entry. Where was she? Since Jacques arrived in Acadia around 1671, could she have been with him?

DEATH-CENSUS: 1693, Mines, Acadia, his wife is listed as a widow, with five children: Marguerite (age 15), twins Francois and Jacques (13), Estienne (5), and Francoise (1).
