    April Court, 1800
    Deposition of Jacob Sodowsky, of lawful age, to establish land of Abraham Hite, states:
    in yr. 1776 he assisted David Williams make improvement to which he objected, as location was too near his brother, James Sodowsky's improvement.

    David Williams deposeth: in spring of 1774 he was employed by Benjamin Casey to improve land in Ky., this he did in 1776 on now, Strode's Creek leading from Boonesborough to Harrod's Lick; was employed in 1780 by Peter Casey to again come to Ky. as agent. He left Benjamin Casey, "now deceased," on the South branch of Patomac when he came out and found him there on his return. By contract with Peter Casey was entitled to one half.
    Jacob Sodowsky deposeth in same.
